Stainless Steel Coils
The 300 series stainless steel is generally used in the aerospace, marine, automation, and food and beverage industry. On the other hand, the 400 series stainless steel is usually used in agriculture equipment, motor shafts, and turbines, etc. The 400 series of stainless steels is less expensive than the 300 series because the nickel concentration is lower. Applications requiring corrosion resistance are utilized the 300 series, while those requiring high wear and tear resistance are used the 400 series.
